we are happy that you have chosen CEVRO University for your studies. To make your first steps as easy as possible, we have prepared a brief overview of basic information about CEVRO University and about the study:

  • September 25 – December 17, 2023 (lecture period)
  • January 2, 2024 – February 9, 2024 (exam period)
Term II
  • February 12 – May 4, 2024 (lecture period)

Term III
  • July 7 – September 27, 2024 (lecture + exam period)

The key document is the Code of Study and Examination. Below you can find the essential information from this document:

  • Courses are divided into compulsory and voluntary. Compulsory courses are offered every year; voluntary according to students‘ interest.
  • After enrolling in courses, which is always before the start of the trimester, the student will see the class schedule for the given period in his or her profile.
  • Bachelor students are required to obtain a total of 180 credits (including credits for state final exams).
  • Students of subsequent master’s studies are required to obtain a total of 120 credits (including credits for state final exams). 

ISIC / ALIVE with EUROPEAN STUDENT CARD

  • This is an international student identification card which is also integrated with European student card.
  • ISIC – for full-time students under the age of 26
  • ALIVE – for students of older than 26 years
  • With this card, the student proves his/her identity during exams, and at the same time, the card serves as the entrance card to the building.).
  • The student applies for the ISIC / ALIVE (European student card) when enrolling in the 1st year, as soon as the card is ready for collection, s/he will receive an informative e-mail. At the same time, these cards offer a number of discounts and benefits. 

SCHOOL EMAIL [Outlook Microsoft 365]

  • The school e-mail is one of the most important communication channels during the entire course of study. Students are required to use this email and check it regularly. It is possible to have it forwarded to your private e-mail address.
  • Login to the CEVRO Institute systems can be found on the website https://www.cevro.cz/en/. The „Outlook“ and „IS“ icons are located at the top right of the web pages.
  • You will receive a username and password usually 2–3 weeks before your study begins. The format of all e-mail addresses of students, teachers and employees of CEVRO Institute is always: name.surname@vsci.cz.

INFORMATION SYSTEM OF CEVRO UNIVERSITY [IS]

  • All organizational and administrative tasks related to the study can be carried out using the school’s information system or school e-mail. Through them, students are also informed about all important matters.
  • In order to easily familiarize yourself with IS, we have made several short video instructions for basic user actions:

  • Regular monitoring of both systems is therefore the duty of every student.

WIRELESS NETWORK IN THE CEVRO UNIVERSITY BUILDING (WIFI)

  • It is possible to use a wireless network in the CEVRO University building.
  • The network name is vsci and password is cevrowifi.
